About Us

Connect Puerto Rico is a subsidiary of Connected Nation and operates as a non-profit in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Connect Puerto Rico was commissioned by the Puerto Rico Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Financing Authority (PRIFA) to work with all broadband providers in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to create an island-wide detailed map of broadband coverage in order to accurately pinpoint remaining gaps in broadband availability in Puerto Rico. Connect Puerto Rico will continue to develop and update the broadband data as it is collected and the services that can be made available to public and private entities as well as citizens.
