Connected Tennessee State Broadband Summit - February 27
Connected Tennessee is gearing up to host the first Connected Tennessee State Broadband Summit on Wednesday, February 27. This summit will be held at the Nashville Public Library downtown from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and will bring together local and state representatives from various industries including government, education, healthcare and more to learn about broadband best practices in the state, discuss strategies to address remaining barriers to broadband access, adoption, and use, and to network with other leaders across the state working to bridge the digital divide.
This first-of-its-kind summit in Tennessee aims to update existing stakeholders and introduce new stakeholders to the broadband expansion effort let by Connected Tennessee and to showcase best practices in broadband expansion and utilization across the state. Whether it is to gain a better understanding of why broadband is important to jobs and quality of life, to obtain updates on federal policy reform updates or learning about innovations in the technology marketplace, the Connected Tennessee State Broadband Summit will support relevant content for every audience.

The Connected Tennessee State Broadband Summit will also present the Broadband Hero Awards. Awards will be presented to individuals or organizations that have made a significant impact in the areas of broadband access, adoption, and use.
